Refund policy

RETURNS:
We want you to love our products as much as we do! If for ANY reason you don't, we want to know! We strive for anti-waste in every aspect of our business, which includes not wanting our customers to waste their money on something they don't really like. You have 45 days to return your unused item for a full refund. If 45 days have passed, you can exchange it for something else in our shop. Our exchange policy lasts 90 days. If more than 90 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.

***Please be aware that your returns/exchanges do NOT effect any of our artisan's pay. All artisans are paid fairly and promptly, before items are even added onto our site for sale. ***

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS:
Once your return is received, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3-5 days.
If there are any issues with your refund (you haven't received it within time frame), please let us know immediately, by emailing us at theethicalolive@gmail.com. Also, please check your bank account and/or credit card account, to see if it is pending. Processing times vary between financial organizations.

For safety reasons, food items may not be returned or exchanged.
Other Non-returnable items: Earrings, Gift cards, Baby onesies and teethers
Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

SHIPPING:
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We cannot guarantee that your package will not get lost/stolen/damaged. Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
